Ernie Els Design is pleased to announce the signing of a new agreement in partnership with Mission Hills Golf Club in China, which offers reciprocal benefits at Els Club Copperleaf and Els Club Dubai.

The purpose of the agreement is to promote a sense of friendship and fraternity through the game of golf, establishing strong ties between the clubs to offer added value to all its members, their family and guests. In practice it means reciprocal members are granted access to the same facilities at the host club as are extended to full members of that club, including 12 free rounds of golf per calendar year and the privilege of introducing friends and family at special members’ guest rates.

Members of all Els Clubs and of Mission Hills thus have access to a golfing home from home. And with the knowledge that future Els Club projects are currently in development with some of the finest developers around the world, the scale of these reciprocal benefits is set only to grow bigger and better.

The Els Club Dubai opened in 2008 and was named ‘Best New International Course’ by the prestigious Links magazine. Els Club Copperleaf opened in 2007 and was named ‘Best New Golf Course' in the region by Compleat Golfer magazine.

Mission Hills is officially the world’s largest golf facility and the home of golf in China. It has 10 exhilarating championship golf courses, including the Ernie Els-designed Savannah layout, which measures over 7,000 yards. Its strength lies in the diverse terrain – part of the course simulates a parkland style environment that meanders through a pristine river basin. The course opened for play in 2002.
