The analysis presented in this regional report covering the markets of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland has been performed based on data received from over 650 golf courses regarding their operating performance in 2006.
Top performing courses in Great Britain and Ireland reported average revenues of EUR 2.2 million - twice as much as the average of the entire market sample of our surveyed region, which was approximately EUR 1 million. High performing golf courses also accommodated in excess of 51,000 rounds in 2006, of which almost 23,000 were green fee rounds.
